Twin Falls Christian Academy offers comprehensive academic programs designed to develop the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically. Our curriculum balances strong academics with authentic faith integration, creating graduates who excel academically while maintaining a solid biblical foundation.

Licensed Childcare Program

Our licensed childcare program provides a safe, loving environment for our students in K3 through 5th grade before and after the regular school day. Open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM-8:15 AM and to 11:30 to 5:30 PM, our childcare includes:

Daily activities that develop fine and gross motor skills
Music, singing, and creative play
Rest time for K3, K4 and K5
Supervised playground time and age-appropriate learning and art activities
Afternoon homework time for elementary students

Grade-Level Program Overview

Our K3 program introduces children to a school environment in a loving environment that promotes a love of Jesus and others. This program includes:

Fine and gross motor development through independent and directed play
Crafts and art projects
Introduction to numbers, letters, colors, and shapes
Bible lessons and literature stories

Our K3 program gives children an opportunity to begin relationships with friends and experience a positive learning environment away from home.

Our K4 program operates from 8:25 to 11:30 AM. Families may choose three or five days a week to meet their family’s needs. This program provides:

Language arts development and pre-reading skills
Number recognition and early math concepts
Learning activities that build school readiness
Regular chapel emphasizing reverence for Jesus Christ
Character development and biblical values
Patriotism and respect for others

Children in our K4 program build confidence, develop social skills, and gain the foundation they need for kindergarten success.

The elementary years establish the foundation for all future learning. Our elementary program emphasizes mastery of core skills while fostering curiosity and love of learning.

Primary Grades (1-3):

Reading (phonics-based approach)
English and grammar
Mathematics
Spelling
Science
History
Bible (daily instruction)
Art, music, and physical education

These critical years develop study habits, learning skills, and attitudes that shape your child's entire educational experience. Our discipline system rooted in biblical principles provides the structure and encouragement children need to thrive.

Upper Elementary (4-5):

All core subjects with increasing depth and complexity
Continued daily Bible instruction
Introduction to more advanced concepts in all subjects
Program participation and presentations
Chorus and music education
Art and physical education
Development of research and critical thinking skills

Upper elementary students build on their foundational knowledge while developing independence and responsibility for their own learning.

Middle school represents a critical transition period. Our program provides:

Core academics: English, Math, Science, History, Bible
Continued character development and discipleship
Study skills and academic personal responsibility
Extracurricular opportunities in athletics and fine arts
Preparation for the rigors of high school

We maintain high expectations while providing the support and guidance students need during these formative years.

Our high school program prepares students for college and career success while deepening their faith and character. We offer:

College-preparatory curriculum in all core subjects
Opportunities to earn elective and college credit through Idaho Digital Learning Alliance and Advanced Opportunities
Daily Bible instruction and chapel
Leadership development opportunities
Academic and spiritual mentorship
College planning and guidance

TFCA graduates receive fully recognized diplomas accepted at all colleges and universities. Many of our graduates earn academic scholarships, reflecting the quality of education they receive.

Extracurricular Activities

Education extends beyond the classroom. TFCA offers numerous opportunities for students to develop their talents and interests:

Athletics:

Flag Football (6th-12th grade boys)
Volleyball (6th-12th grade girls)
Basketball (6th-12th grade boys and girls)

Fine Arts & Enrichment:

Choir (two days per week, two concerts annually)
Drama and school plays
